Roger E. Schneider, M.D. FACS
Dr. Schneider is the founder and managing partner of Vascular Surgery Associates. He attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. His internship, residency and surgical fellowship were completed at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Schneider is the former Chief of Surgery at the Upper Chesapeake Health System and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Upper Chesapeake Health System. He has served on the clinical teaching staff of The Johns Hopkins Hospital and has authored multiple articles in the field of vascular disease.
Wayne Reichman M.D. FACS
Dr. Reichman has been in private practice since 1989 and joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 1991. He is a graduate of The Medical College of Virginia, completed his residency at Brown University in Provicence, RI and a vascular fellowship at The Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Reichman is a board certified vascular surgeon and has numerous publications in the field of vascular surgery. He is a member of the International Society of Endovascular Surgery, the Chesapeake Vascular Society, and Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society. Since 1997 he has served as a regional proctor for Cordis/Johnson & Johnson angioplasty and stenting procedures.
Mark D. Gonze, M.D. FACS
Dr. Gonze joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 1999. He is graduate of the Pennsylvania State University Medical School. Dr. Gonze completed his residency at Allegheny in Pittsburgh and a vascular fellowship at the Ochnser Medical Clinic in New Orleans. Dr Gonze brings to the practice a special interest in endovascular surgery. He is the author of numerous published articles, and has given presentations at national meetings on endovascular aneurysm repair. He now serves as proctor for the AneruRx endovascular aneurysm repair system, having extensive endovascular experience at the Ochnser Clinic.
Peter J. Mackrell, M.D.
Dr. Mackrell joined Vascular Surgery Associates in September of 2003. He received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Cornell University Medical Center and vascular surgical fellowship at Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was the co-investigator of four recent trials of new procedures for carotid, renal and iliac stenting, and the development of a new abdominal aortic aneurysm stent graft.
Andre Biuckians, M.D.
Dr. Biuckians joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2008. He is a graduate of The George Washington University, received a Masters of Public Health from Boston University and Doctorate of Medicine from University of Massachusetts Medical School. His surgical residency was completed at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and vascular fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Biuckians has co-authored several publications, including treatment for Deep Vein Thrombosis and angioplasty for lower extremity claudication.

Carter B. Freiburg, M.D.
Dr. Freiburg joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2011. He earned his undergraduate degree from Washington University in Saint Louis, followed by a medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Vermont/Fletcher Allen Health Care and a vascular fellowship at Yale University. As part of his fellowship training at Yale he studied complex thoracic and abdominal aortic endovascular surgery at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia. His practice encompasses all aspects of open vascular and endovascular surgeries.

Kristian A, Ulloa, M.D.
Dr. Ulloa joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2011. After earning his undergraduate degeee from Emory University, he returned to his home state of New Jersey where he did his medical school training at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. He then came to Maryland to complete his general surgery residency and vascular fellowship at the University of Maryland Center/Shock Trauma Center. During his training, Dr. Ulloa presented research at multiple national and regional meetings. He has also authored chapters in vascular surgery texts on endovascular treatment of venous disease as well as the management o fperipheral aneurysms.

Bradford H. Houck III PA-C
Mr. Houck joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 1996. He is a graduate of Western Maryland College and completed his physician assistant training at Touro College in NY. He has 20 years experience as a surgical physician assistant and is the past Director of Surgical Services at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Mr. Houck assists in the operating room and in conjunction with the surgeons provides pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
Jason A. Meyer PA-C
Mr. Meyer joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2002. He is a graduate of the Saint Francis College Physician Assistant Program. Mr. Meyer's previous experience includes working with the Cardiac Surgical Team at St. Joseph Hospital's Cardiac Institute. He will work with our surgeons providing patient care and assisting in the operating room.

Jennifer Burton PA-C
Ms. Burton has been a member of the Vascular Surgery Associates team since 2008. She recieved a Master of Science degree for Physician Assistant Studies from Shenandoah University. Her previous work experience includes 4 years as a Physician Assistant in private practice with a surgical group. Ms. Burton assists in the operating room, as well as provides patient care in the office and hospital settings.

Terry Dyer CRNP
Ms Dyer is the Clinical Director of The Vein and Cosmetic Institute. She received her Baccalaureate of Nursing and her Masters of Science from the University of Maryland. She is a board certified Nurse Practitioner. With years of experience in Trauma/ER critical care and Primary Care, now Vascular Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine Terry has been able to contribute a wealth of knowledge to our patients. She has been named in "Top Women in Business" edition of Baltimore Magazine and is an adjunct professor of the University of Maryland Graduate School.

Henry Hoang ACNP
Mr Hoang joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2011. He received his Baccalaureate and Masters in Nursing from University of Massachusetts. He is a board certified Nurse Practioner in Acute/Critical Care. Mr. Hoang is also a Registered Nurse First Assistant. Previous experience includes Transplant Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital and General Surgery at Sinai Hospital. Mr. Hoang's responsibilities include surgical assisting, pre and post-op patient care.

Kate Johnson PA-C
Ms. Johnson joined Vascular Surgery Associates in 2011. She received her Masters of Medical Science from St. Francis University and Physician Assistant degree from Anne Arundel Community College. Her previous work experience includes functioning as a Radiologic Technologist in the interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization laboratories at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center. Ms Johnson provides patient care in the office and hospital settings, as well as assisting in the operating room.

Mrs. Bonnie Peters
Mrs. Peters has served as the practice manager of Vascular Surgery Associates since its' inception in 1987. Mrs. Peters oversees the day to day operation of the practice's 6 offices and the office staff.
