Mark Gonze, MD, FACS, is a board-certified vascular surgeon at Vascular Surgery Associates, LLC, serving patients in Bel Air, Towson, and Elkton, Maryland.
Dr. Gonze joined the team at Vascular Surgery Associates in 1999 and is a graduate of the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He was also a Major in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Dr. Gonze completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh and his vascular fellowship at the Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He brings to the practice a special interest in endovascular surgery. Dr. Gonze is the author of numerous published articles and has given multiple presentations at national meetings on endovascular aneurysm repair. He continues to serve as a proctor for the endovascular aneurysm repair system for other surgeons.
Dr. Gonze is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and currently serves as Chairman of the Department of Surgery of the Upper Chesapeake Health System. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
