Varithena Microfoam Vein Treatment
Vascular Surgery Associates, LLC
Vascular Surgery & Podiatry located in Bel Air, MD & Towson, MD
Varithena is a minimally invasive varicose treatment option involving as few as 1-2 foam injections into the diseased vein to collapse it, allowing circulation to re-route into a healthy vein.
It is a quick, nearly painless procedure that typically takes 30 minutes. The foam is FDA approved and there are no incisions or stitches involved. Few patients report discomfort at the injection site and typically return to normal activity the same day.
